‘Moor’ film Premiered in University of Balochistan

Quetta: Pakistani feature film ‘Moor’ was premiered in Balochistan in University of Baluchistan (UOB) auditorium, on Monday evening.
Film Screening was held by Institute of Development Studies and Practices (IDSP) with collaboration of Azad Films Company.
IDSP is a development organization established in the year 1998 to promote learning of the fellows who could transform the social development sector.

Vice Chancellor (VC) of UOB, Professor Dr. Javed Iqbal was the Chief Guest of the event.
Film screening was preceded by certificate distribution ceremony of recently graduated batch of IDSP Film School.
Chief Guest, Professor Dr. Javed Iqbal, said that UOB is mother of all educational institutes in Balochistan.
“Together UOB and IDSP can go further and achieve their ultimate destiny,” vowed Dr. Iqbal.

Addressing the program, Dr. Qurrat ul Ain Bakhtiari, founding director of IDSP said that “we made the experiment of knowledge based practical learning for youth and it worked well.” She added “in last 17 years 700 people have been graduated from IDSP and 90 percent of them are well employed.”
“Youth in Balochistan have strong routes and they only need wings to fly and be successful,” claimed founding director of IDSP.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between IDSP and UOB to share each other’s manpower and resources.

Shah Jahan Baloch, President of board of IDSP, said that “I was a student in first batch of IDSP and today I am its President.” “Just 7 years after graduating from IDSP, I represented Pakistan in London,” added. Mr. Baloch.

Jami, director of Moor film, also addressed the gathering. He said that Moor film was largely shot in MuslimBagh town of Balochistan and his team will also try to screen the film in Muslimbagh town.
Jami answered questions of the participants after the screening of the film.
