Importance of ‘Youth’ as an Ambassador of Human Rights‏ Emphasized in Seminar

Quetta: Importance of Youth as an Ambassador of Human Rights was emphasized in a seminar held in Quetta Press Club, on Thursday.
Seminar was organized by Quetta chapter of Pak US Alumni Network (PUAN) which is a group of fellows who have visited US under state department funded programs.
Addressing the Seminar, Mr. Gul Khan Naseer Baloch, President PUAN Quetta chapter said that PUAN arranges programs for youth so that they can get exposure and avail new opportunities.
“Now a Days youth need jobs, Health, sports and other basic facilities to go ahead but it is so sad to say that the former Government did not taken any serious action to give a chance to the upcoming generation to go ahead,” said President PUAN Quetta chapter. He further added that still youth is jobless and suffering from different problems of life.

Sumera Mehboob, Finance Secretary of PUAN Quetta chapter said that unfortunately Youth doesn’t have awareness about its basic rights and still they are not on right path to go ahead.
Shazia Ahmed Langove, General Secretary of PUAN Quetta chapter said that Youth of Balochistan is more aware than other communities but still they are not moving in a right direction. She further added that youth needs to follow the right path and get information on how to get success for Nation.
Mr. Zia Khan, founder of Quetta Online group of volunteers said that there are a lot of Opportunities for Youth which they need to avail and go ahead and write a new history for world.
Mr. Behram Baloch, a member of PUAN Quetta Chapter, said that Youth have the majority of Population in Pakistan but unfortunately they don’t have information about basic rights that’s why they are backward. “Youth have the potential to change their future and give a new lesson through educational revolution in the world,” he added.
Mr. Gul Khan Naseer Baloch delivered a Vote of Thanks to all people for the participating in the seminar.
