Quetta: Price control committees are non-functional in Quetta City to prevent the profiteers from exploiting people.
In Quetta shopkeepers are looting the people by selling Milk at high prices to them. This practice is continuing unabated in Kasi road, Sirki road, Faqeer Mohammed road, Prince Road, Jan Muhammad road and Satellite Town areas where Mixed Milk per Liter is sold at very high prices.
Mr. Syed Khan, a resident of Jan Muhammad Road told Balochistan Voices that Milk Adulteration is harmful act for our health. It is most dangerous for our health and body. We pay full payment for Milk but get impure milk in return which is condemnable.
Mr. Ali Ahmed Reki, a Senior Journalist told Balochistan Voices that using Injurious milk transfers different diseases to human Body which can’t be diagnosed on early basis but they badly impact body and health in later life.
Provincial government and district administration is supposed to ensure implementation of Price control committees and protect consumers from adulterated eatables products, demand citizens of Quetta.
