Quetta: Mr. Dawood Muhammad Barech has been appointed as new Additional Chief Secretary (Dev) Planning and Development department, on Wednesday.
Mr. Barech has been appointed though notification number S-II-2(4)/2016 issued by Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) of Balochistan on orders of Chief Secretary Balochistan.
Mr. Barech who was serving as Secretary Colleges, Higher and Technical Education department has replaced Naseebullah Bazai for the second most important position after Chief Secretary.
Newly appointed Additional Chief Secretary is an officer of Pakistan Administrative Services and has a reputation for being an honest and uncompromising government officer.
People from different walks of life in Balochistan have appreciated the appointment of Dawood Barech on important position of Additional Chief Secretary.
Appointment of Mr. Barech has come just days before announcement of new budget of Balochistan.
