Gwadar: Divisional Conference of PPP Held

Gwadar: Divisional Conference of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Makran Division was held in District assembly Hall of Gwadar city, on Saturday
PPP leaders and activists from all over Makran participated in the meeting.
Conference was addressed by members of Balochistan Coordination Committee Senator Sardar Fateh Mohammad Mohammad Hassani, Former Deputy Chairman Senate Sabir Baloch, Former provincial minister Ali Madad Jattak, Sarbuland Khan Jogezai and Ejaz Hussain.
Local leaders of PPP Yousaf Faryadi, Sadiq Khan and Ruqqiaya Essa also spoke in the conference.
Speakers lamented that Gwadar is in limelight for CPEC but the people of the city are facing loads of problems
“Ground realities contradict the claim that Mega projects have made any difference for People of Gwadar,” said Senator Mohammad Hassani.
He further complained that basic facilities such as Water, Health and Educational facilities are missing in Gwadar.
“So-called middle class leaders made loud claims but did not do anything on the ground and got involved in Treasure Leaks,” he continued.
It was also said in the conference that CPEC is an essential part of economy of Pakistan and we will not tolerate any conspiracy against it. However major chunk of CPEC resources are spent on Punjab and Balochistan is getting nothing.
Speakers of the conference also counted down the steps taken by PPP during its government for people of Gwadar and adjoining areas.
Pasni Fish Harbor was also established during the rule of PPP which is benefiting thousands of people, said the speakers.
Conference ended on the note that PPP will re-emerge as a leading political party in Makran division.
