Loralai: Health Workers Boycott Polio Campaign

Loralai: Different associations of Health workers have announced to boycott the polio campaign in district Loralai in a protest against the district treasury office, on Monday.
A protest was conducted at Bacha Khan chowk Loralai by different unions including Para-medical association of health department against the problems created by district treasury department.
Protestors blamed that from the last six months the salaries of health workers are annulled in a un authorized access or illegal-manner by the corrupt officers and head of the treasury department.

PMA and Para-medical association announced boycott of polio campaign at the spot during the sit-in protest.
PMA president said during the protest that treasury department illegally deducts 10% of the salaries which is totally unfair and needs to be stopped.

It was also alleged that salaries are not properly managed by treasury office, shuffling it mistakenly on regular basis due to which the employees face problems.
People of the area have urged the Divisional Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of Loralai to pay attention towards the prevailing issue of PMA employees, lady health worker staff and take action against the incompetent staff of treasury department.
District Loralai is already in Red zone area of polio and also suffering from different diseases such as Hepatitis B, C, TB and other common ailments.
