Mastung: Leaders of National Party (NP) have said that political orphans are criticizing NP in order to cover their frustration.
Those who are criticizing NP have kept Baloch backward on purpose for last few decades, alleged NP leaders.
These comments were made by NP leaders during an obituary political gathering held in memory of Ghulam Hassan Sarparrah in Noraz Khan Stadium Mastung.
Ghulam Hassan Sarparrah was NP leader from Kirdgap Tehsil of District Mastung who was gunned down in broad daylight last month. He had served as District Nazim of Mastung from 2001 to 2005.
Rich tributes were paid to Ghulam Hassan Sarparrah for his services to NP and people of Mastung in last 30 years.
Political gathering was addressed by Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Senator Hasil Bizenjo, Former Chief Minister Dr. Malik Baloch, Senator Kabir Muhammad Shai, MNA Sardar Kamal Khan Bangulzai, Provincial Minister Nawab Muhammad Khan Shahwani, Tahir Bizenjo, Akram Dashti, Jan Buledi and other leaders of NP.
Speakers said that NP has always fought for the rights of Baloch people and their resources. Those who are criticizing NP do not want prosperity of Baloch people. “NP protected the rights of people of the province in very harsh circumstances,” said NP leaders.
Noting down the successes of NP government, speakers said that travel on highways of Balochistan was made safe by Chief Minister of NP.
NP leaders alleged that arrest of Mir Khalid Langove in corruption case is a trap to victimize NP and we will resist this evil design.
In the end NP leaders congratulated their workers on a successful gathering. “Mammoth political gatherings of NP in Mastung and Panjgur have proved that NP is stronger than ever,” boasted NP leaders.
Balochistan National Party (BNP) responded through a press statement to allegations made against the party in NP gathering.
BNP statement read that People of Mastung have rejected the political gathering under the umbrella of corruption.
“Entire tope leadership of NP including Federal Minister, former Chief Minister, MNA, Senators and Provincial Ministers could only gather few hundred people which is a massive failure,” read the statement of BNP.
