Letter: Abysmal Healthcare Facilities in Turbat

Tump which is a tehsil in Turbat district of Balochistan lacks the basic facilities like healthcare and education.
Recently in Tump, five women died in pregnancy cases because of not having good health opportunities and treatment. It is so painful to mention that Balochistan which is the largest and well off province of Pakistan lacks good health facilities.
In recent times, in Turbat seven persons were affected by fatal dengue virus and due to the lack of good health facilities two of them died. There are many families who cannot afford treatment in Quetta, Karachi or other big cities. Mostly, the people who are living in rural areas are being neglected by government.
Nevertheless, in Tump areas hospitals are off and doctors are sitting at home and taking their salaries.
At last I request the government of Balochistan to take notice of this loathsome issue and solve this problem as soon as possible.
