Letter: Plight of Education System of Kolahoo

Kolahoo is an alluring village in Makran division and the people of Kolahoo are simple and hospitable who are thirsty for gaining education. Unfortunately, they lack the fundamental facilities like open-minded teachers, classrooms, electricity, drinking water, boundary wall and other foundation opportunities.
Moreover, the District Education Officer (DEO) himself is not aware that how many teachers are teaching in Kolahoo and are those teachers punctual? Do they have any problems, or not? No betterment is being seen and then there are some ghost teachers who are not punctual and getting their salaries monthly.
Recently, I went in Kolahoo and visited the government boys model school of Kolahoo. When I entered in schools and saw the students become astonished because, students were outside and teachers were in the office I asked one teacher that “why are you not teaching the students”? The he replied that students are not happy in reading so due to this problem and one more thing I have asked that why don’t you give homework to the students then he replied that students are going to cheat in the examination and they don’t want to bother themselves to check their notebooks and give homework.
So, I want to suggest that teachers don’t do such ominous habits that students future be destroyed even though the government of Balochistan is not paying any attention towards the betterment of education.
I humbly request the education minister of Balochistan to take strong measures for the betterment of education and for providing the foundation opportunities to the school’s and children.
