Before considering Mr. Khan’s Speech, let’s have a backward glance at Chircot Report which doesn’t only declares Iraq War, a foreign policy disaster, but also reveals that it was not merely Bush and Blair who hatched this plot but the entire political class including Democratic establishment of US (under Clinton) and Conservative party of UK (under John Major) . This illegitimate war took place against Saddam Hussain when he was not that much real threat for West in terms of usage and culmination of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD).
Political consensus in favor of Iraq War started formulating on wider scale in the early 1990’s in US which then ultimately led to Blair’s involvement in war against the apprehensions of British people. Unfortunately, both media and Chircot Report don’t contain ample appetite to condemn the entire political mantra. In fact, both have failed to coin words that can best represent the stage showing subjective sensibilities and objective realities, without being selective in manner with narrow framework order.
As far as, Trump and Clinton, the current US Presidential nominees, are concerned, former one supported the Iraq war while later one voted for it in congress. Though, both deny the fact and trying to stay in shadows or hiding behind Blair like many other politicians are doing so.
Now, let’s have a brief look at Mr. Khan’s speech which finds a common thread from the above mentioned story i.e. Iraq war. He started his speech by mentioning his son’s – Humayun Khan- sacrifice who died in saving his fellow soldiers who were given a task to kill tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians. Indeed, hypocrisy is running rampant behind the usage of word “SACRIFICE” especially in terms of states security and defense system.
Later on, he started criticizing Trump’s xenophobic attitude (Anti- Muslim and Anti-Immigrant), his fascist policy stands, insulting rhetoric with awful tone of speeches and a legacy of defamation of character. But, for world there was nothing new in it. Deep down every American is trump. Clinton, somehow, has managed to get the enlightened form with her well launched political campaign and usage of sophisticated slogans like ‘Liberalism’ and ‘Human rights’.
His criticism was not only deceptive but also self-serving as, Clinton is as worst as Trump, both ideologically and politically, as far as the domestic and foreign policy is concerned.
American Democracy is not an inch less than a white elephant living in nation’s room which is not only sustaining racial inequality but also misleading the world in form of having Black president. Current videotaped encounters of unarmed black with police are great indication of the above mentioned fact. So, Khan’s praise towards American democracy beholds a Big Question mark, arousing suspicions only.
He further asked Trump, while delivering his speech, whether he has read American constitution or not; especially it’s two important clauses regarding “liberty” and “equal protection of law”. One may wonder why Trump should do so. Are both these clauses succeeded in blocking the way towards armed war against Iraq? The world has not been able to forget the far reaching effects of Operation Desert Fox which took millions of innocent Iraqi lives in just four days.
Would Hillary establishment be able to entitle every individual with liberty, life or pursuit of happiness?  Would it be able to provide the so-called basic fundamental rights to slaves? If the notion of liberty is supposed to done some stupid legislation like ‘legalization of same sex marriages’ then, Trump can provide a better job or great deal as compared Hillary. No worries in this regard.
If Trump has not sacrificed anything then, surely, Clinton is no exception to that, not even Khan or his son.
To conclude, His speech was not aimed to denounce poisonous Anti-Muslim rhetoric or current spread of Islam phobia or something like atrocities being committed against Muslims but was only following Democrats agenda of Humanizing Hillary; Just another way towards speculation of Hillary presidential campaign.
