Letter: Corruption in Passport Office Turbat

Recently, I visited the passport office in Turbat for passport issuance. Shockingly, I was demanded Rs. 3000 for passport completion and on refusal, they threatened us for not issuing the passport.
I was compelled as I wanted it in short span of time on urgent basis. Likely, it was another example of corruption observed in the media absence.
The department is supposed to issue basic identity documents to citizens of Pakistan for foreign travel but it’s indulging in blatant corruption.
Through your paper, I wish to draw the attention of concerned authorities in Ministry of Interior for urgent measures for eradication of corruption in passport office Turbat.
