Balochistan Assembly Members Demand Official Passports

Quetta:  Members of Balochistan Assembly demanded for issuance of Official passports to them, during assembly session on Saturday.
A joint resolution number 75 was jointly tabled by Nawab Mohammad Khan Shahwani, Abdul Raheem Ziaratwal, Sardar Raza Mohammad Barech and Dr. Ruqqaiya Hashmi which demanded for a valid Blue, Official, passport for all the assembly members.

Members are entitled to enjoy the facility of Blue Passport so that their Visas of official visits can be processed on priority basis – Resolution

Text of the resolution said that according to rules, assembly members are entitled to enjoy the facility of Blue Passport so that their Visas of official visits can be processed on priority basis.

Resolution also demanded that a committee should be constituted to pursue the matter and ask Federal government to issue Blue Passports to the members of assembly.

Majority of members of assembly are from out of Quetta and they face problems living in Quetta during assembly session – Resolution

Moreover, resolution number 76 was also tabled in the assembly in which the assembly members demanded for establishment of parliament lodges and ministers enclave in Quetta like the ones in Islamabad.
Resolution read that majority of members of assembly are from out of Quetta and they face problems living in Quetta during assembly session and therefore they should be provide with official residence in the form of parliament lodges and ministers enclave.
