Opposition Leader Demands Postponement of PCS Exams

Quetta: Molana Abdul Wassay, opposition leader in Balochistan Assembly, has demanded that PCS exams scheduled from 19th November should be postponed.
He made this statement on the floor of Balochistan Assembly on the first day of the session, on Wednesday.
PCS is the name given to provincial competitive exams conducted by Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) where recruitments are made for the positions of Section Officers and Assistant Commissioners.
Mr. Wassay said that examinations of Masters of University of Balochistan are taking place in the same time frame when PCS exams are scheduled and therefore latter has to be postponed.
Opposition leader further highlighted that from 2018 onwards Master Degree is must for taking CSS competitive exams therefore candidates appearing in PCS exams should not be deprived of appearing in Masters Exams this time.
Members of treasury benches supported the demand made by opposition leader and urged BPSC to postpone the PCS exams and conduct them after those exams.
