PCS Exams will not be Postponed: Government of Balochistan

Quetta: Government of Balochistan has announced that PCS exams will be held on the scheduled dates and these exams will not be postponed.
This announcement was made through a press release issued on late Saturday evening by Directorate General of Public Relations (DGPR).
PCS is the name given to Provincial Competitive Exams which are scheduled to take place from 19th November to 9th December after a gap of five years.

This press statement was issued in the backdrop of rising rumors that PCS exams would be postponed because of clash with Master exams schedule and security concerns.
Balochistan Government vowed to keep on pursuing the policy of upholding merit and defending the rights of talented individuals of the province.
Molana Abdul Wassay, Opposition Leader in Balochistan assembly, had earlier demanded on floor of the assembly to postpone PCS Exams.

Earlier on Friday, representative of candidates appearing in PCS conducted a press conference in Quetta Press Club and demanded that exams should not be postponed. They alleged that a lobby wants to keep on delaying the PCS exams till the time they are able to control recruitment process and recruit their favorite candidates.
