Rehan Rind, a twenty-year old competent student of BSC who also showed his high spirits in the field of teaching, lost his life to Blood Cancer in his early and dreamful age and saddened the nation.
He was born on 5th May, 1995 in Khuzdar, Balochistan and left this stage on 6th September, 2016 at Agha Khan Hospital Karachi where he was undergoing a heavy treatment and suffering from sheer pain for 38 days till his last breath. He had been residing at Naval Colony Karachi for the last three years at his sister’s house. He was much aware of his family’s financial condition and decided to take the onus of his education expenditures for this reason he started teaching at “The Educators “and also arranged coaching classes for the secondary students to meet his expenditure. According to his students he was an exceptional teacher and used to have amazing teaching skills with complete command of subjects; a polymath with fondness of books.
He was a shining star that was heading to the sky to get its perfect place but, Alas! The handcuffs of death refrained him from grabbing the desirable target. He was claimed to be the asset of nation and yes he was, on behalf of, he proved this fervently by showing his utmost motivation through his motto, a kid in such a young age with a brain and leading skills, who aimed to mobilize the people and succeeded to shake take the slumber souls. That is why it is said that an asset is lost.
It is notable that there were many cancer patients who lost their lives owing to deadliest Blood Cancer before Rehan, but why people merely started campaign for him. On the bed instead of cursing the fate he chalked out the plan to revive his untoward fate. Rehan knew how to make hay while sun shines, hence he along with his friends started campaign in this regard. His video, that was posted on Facebook wherein Rehan himself requesting for helping hands, succeeded to grasp the attention of every single heart, conversely, Government and its oath taking members, who swore to God for serving their people, didn’t give a single hear to lessen the pain and agony of Rehan and his family.
He posted in his last message on Facebook, “I believe humanity is still alive and you people testify it. My beloved ones I implore you people you should not have to quit this campaign until or unless we get a Cancer Hospital in Balochistan whether I survive or not I implore you not to stop this campaign so that we may save more vulnerable lives.”
After his demise soon after #SaveRehanRind campaign was transformed into Rehan Rind Foundation which was made according to his will. Rehan Rind Foundation is following his footprints and intensely committed to continue his legacy and his humanitarian dreams that to be surely fulfilled one day but when we don’t know…!
