Houbara bustard, internationally protected migratory bird, which seems to be going to extinct owing to its special hunting.
Recently according to Sources, the federal government issued numerous special permits hunting in Punjab during the hunting season of 2016 / 17. Not only houbara bustard is protected under the control of multiple distinct international conventions and agreements signed by the country, but also hunting banned under the local wildlife protection laws.
Moreover, in the Stock-takings of hunting the Qatari prince name also unearthed according to sources. Prince has gotten the permission of hunting 100 birds within 10 day period.  As well as it is sought after in Arab Emirates.
At the last, the matter is critical and unnoticed and can cause number of problems to our hunting. It remains government responsibility to rethink its idea otherwise soon the houbara bustard can be extinct. If they continue hunting such a huge number of birds.
