Quetta: Chief Minister (CM) Balochistan has given approval to purchase 10 thousand laptops which will be distributed among students of Balochistan. Laptop procurement advertisement will be issued by Education and Information departments before 31st March 2017 and Laptops will be divide before 30th June 2017.
This was announced in a meeting chaired by CM Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Zehri and attended by Chief Secretary Balochistan Saif Ullah Chatta, Secretary Finance and Secretary Information Technology.
During the meeting it was decided that 10 percent of Laptops will be divided at provincial level rest of them will be divided among Union council level Toppers of Medical, Engineering, Graduates and University students.
“I want to fulfill my Vision of Literate Balochistan which requires modern technologies to educate children of province due to present era,” said Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sana Ullah Khan Zehri.
He further said that our students are hardworking, intelligent and this work will improve their abilities in Information Technology, and it will be helpful in development on educational field.
