Health Department to Conduct Thalassemia Assessment in Chagai

Chagai: Health department would conduct an assessment to find out reasons of expanding thalassemia disease in Chagai. This was said by Noor ul Haq Baloch, Secretary Health during his visit to Chagai, on Wednesday.
Noor ul Haq Baloch said that thalassemia was a serious issue for him therefore he would provide a cold blood storage and take more steps after assessing the problem.
He said that the health care system in Balochistan would be improved in upcoming days. He assured the paramedics for solutions of their service structure issue. He immediately issued appointment orders of a child specialist and pharmacist for Prince Fahad hospital Dalbandin and a senior medical officer for rural health center Nok Kundi.
These developments took place during the visit of Secretary Health to Chagai where he along with Chief Minister’s coordinator Sardar Najeeb Sanjrani, DC Chagai Shaihak Baloch, Chairman District Council Chagai Mir Dawood Notezai and Officials of health department and PPHI visited different sectors of prince Fahad hospital, midwifery school, Islamic relief free eye hospital in Dalbandin and rural health centers in Yakmach and Nok Kundi respectively.
He also held meeting with doctors, paramedics and political figures in conference hall of prince Fahad hospital where he expressed satisfaction about overall performance of prince Fahad hospital Dalbandin.
He also announced increase in medicine quotas for DHQ Dalbandin and RHC Nok Kundi.
He appreciated the efforts being taken by Islamic relief eye hospital in Dalbandin which facilitated thousands of people during few years.
It should be mentioned here that Secretary Health was invited by DC Chagai Shaihak Baloch who had earlier arranged a visit of Secretary Education Dr. Umar Babar. Now DC Chagai has also invited Secretary Local Government to visit the Chagai and make sure the solution of different problems being suffered by people.
