Houbara bustard also known as Chlamydotis Undulata, is commonly known all over the world especially in Pakistan and Arab states where it has been placed in the imperiled bird list.
This bird is hunted because of meat which is the great source of protein and phosphorus. According to some figure complied by KP wild life departments. 80 percent amount is generated by the sale of each permit is remaining 20 percent is spend for improving biodiversity.
The result are surprising the number of Houbara have increased from 257 in early 1990 to over 450 in 2015. Washuk is the only district in Balochistan where houbara is being hunted by the help of local people. The local people do not know that they are killing the precious birds only for small amount of money.
Every creature plays an important part in our ecosystem. Preserve the biodiversity and make the planet to look beautiful.
It is the a request to the government to cancel and permit to foreign peoples for hunting endangered birds.
