Baloch Culture Day Celebrated in Balochistan

Quetta: Baloch Culture Day was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm all over Balochistan, on Thursday.
Cultural events, seminars, rallies, poetry gatherings and exhibitions were arranged to celebrate this occasion.
A program for International Baloch Culture Day was arranged at a local mall of Quetta.

Man, Women, children and energetic youth of Balochistan participated in a huge numbers to convey message of peace, prosperity and love to the world.

Provincial Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti was the chief guest of the program.
“Baloch culture is one of the richest cultures of the world. I am feeling proud to be with our people on such a occasion, expressed Mr. Bugti. He added that Balochi culture is protector of ladies, child and other people.
Mr. Bugti reiterated that it is our duty to celebrate this day with interest and show the colors of Balochi culture to other people. We have to play our prominent role for peaceful Balochistan.

Youngsters told Balochistan Voices that it is a day which provides us a platform to celebrate and meet with each other. We have to join hands to hands for a peaceful environment in Balochistan and promote education for a brighter future.

A Multi-Lingual Poetry gathering was arranged to celebrate Balochi Culture Day at Noori Naseer Khan Cultural Complex by Cultural Department with collaboration of local organization of Balochistan.

Mr. Ghulam Ali Baloch Secretary Culture and Tourism said on the occasion that Government of Balochistan has issued a notification to celebrate 2nd March as a Baloch Culture Day officially every year. “In schools, colleges and university level, we have also released funds of hundred thousand rupees for very college and University in this regard.
Purpose of celebrations of this day is to convey the message of peace and unity among people in Balochistan. “We will hit the jackpot till the next year and Baloch Culture day and will improve and we will arrange programs on University and Colleges level in all over Balochistan,” said Secretary Culture.
Local poets from all over Balochistan also presented their poetry in Balochi, Brahvi, Pashto, Hazargi and Urdu and got appreciation from listeners.

Vsh News and BNP Mengal arranged International Baloch Culture Day program at Government Boys High School Hatiari Gidar, Surab. Large number of residents of Surab attended the event which was marked by Cultural events, Balochi Chaap, and exhibitions of Baloch costumes.
Addressing to the participants, the speakers said that culture is basically the identity of any nation and Baloch is such a distinct culture in the world. They said that Baloch costumes are a beautiful chapter of the Balochi Culture.
