Shoaib Mir Appointed as Chief Secretary Balochistan

Quetta: Shoaib Mir, A BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary Balochistan, Saturday.
Outgoing Chief Secretary, Saifullah Chattah retired from service on 3rd March after serving in Balochistan on top bureaucratic post for almost 3 years.
Shoaib Mir was serving as the Chairman of State Life Insurance Company presently when he was notified as Chief Secretary Balochistan.

In his career which spans over three decades, Mr. Mir has held senior positions in both Federal and Provincial governments. In Federal government he has served as Additional Secretary of Establishment Division, Climate Change and also Inter Provincial Coordination. In addition to this, Mr. Shoaib Mir held the position of Additional Secretary Law and Human Rights.
In Government of Sindh He has served as Additional Secretary, Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner.
