IELTS Tests Starting in Quetta from 29th July

Quetta: After a long wait of several years, British Council will resume conducting tests for International English Language Testing System (IELTS) in Quetta from 29th July this year.
Registration is open for IELTS tests in Quetta on British Council Website. Candidates can reserve a seat for Academic and General Training tests from 29th July.

As per British Council website, ILETS tests will be held once a month in Quetta. Website lists down the tests schedule till October this year.

At the present moment, candidates have to travel to Karachi, Lahore or Islamabad to take IELTS test. Apart from IELTS fee of Rs. 25,000, they also have to bear the additional cost of travelling and staying in other cities thus adding the cost to nearly Rs. 35,000 per test.
Balochistan Voices had raised the issue of no IELTS testing center in Quetta last year and also reported that tests will start from July.
