Shutter Down Strike Called in Quetta for Recovery of Religious Leader

Quetta: A group of religious and political parties called for a shutter down strike in Quetta on 12th September to protest against the kidnapping of Molana Ali Muhammad Abu Turab, Head of Provincial Chapter of Jamat e Ahle Hadees.
The call for shutter down strike was made in a press conference held in Jamia Salfia today.
Molana Ali Muhammad Abu Turab was kidnapped along with his son and private secretary in broad daylight on Friday when he was on his way to airport. Molana Abu Turab is also member of Council of Islamic Ideology.
Press conference was attended by regional heads of religious parties and former Caretaker CM Nawab Ghaus Baksh Barozai.
Participants of the press conference demanded urgent recovery of Molana Turab and lamented the failure of the government to protect its citizens. They said that kidnapping of political workers and leaders continues unabated in Balochistan.
At the end the participants announced a shutter down strike in Quetta on 12th September and it was later endorsed by association of traders in Quetta.
