Political Uncertainty Lingers On in Balochistan

Quetta: Political Uncertainty which started from the application of No-Confidence motion against Chief Minister (CM) of Balochistan on Tuesday, lingers on.
Provincial Minister for Labor and Manpower Rahat Jamali and recently appointed Advisor to CM on Excise and Taxation Abdul Majid Abro tendered their resignations on Friday.
Earlier, CM Balochistan sacked Provincial Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs Sarfraz Bugti and Advisor on Excise and Taxation Amanullah Notezai. Whereas the provincial minister for fisheries Sarfraz Domki resigned this week.
Special session of Balochistan Assembly has been convened on 9th January where the No-Confidence motion against CM Balochistan will be tabled by opposition and members of PML-N and PML-Q.
Jan Achakzai, Special Assistant to CM Balochistan on media, refuted the speculations that CM Balochistan is resigning. “CM Nawab Sanaullah Zehri enjoys confidence of majority MPAs and will show his strength on January 9th. No confidence move will fail,” Azhakzai said in a tweet.

The vote on the no-confidence motion against CM Balochistan on 9th January has been the talk of the town in Balochistan. This issue has got moderate coverage in national media as well.
