Justice Sought by Selected Candidates of Malaria and Vector Borne Disease Control Program

The department of Malaria and Vector Borne Disease control Program Quetta, Balochistan advertised different portions of BPS-17 to BPS-4 for Provisional Programme Implementation Unit (PPIU).
Later on, applications were submitted and test and interviews were conducted. After test and interviews candidates were declared vide merit list.
It is further submitted that as per process offer letters have also be issued to the all selected candidates and in writing, they have also submitted their consent to departments term and conditions within the given time period.
Candidates contacted several times to departments, the concerned person assured the candidates that their Appointment letters are being typed and they are requested to wait. Consequent thereupon, almost eight months have passed since the offer letters have been issued to them. Still, the department did not communicate with the candidates.
Meanwhile, The Department showed them a letter No PS-42045/46 issued on 5th November 2018 by Director General Health services to Director /Malaria/VBD control program, which stated the Cancellation of the Appointment against the district level positions. The Department showed the above-mentioned letter to the selected candidates in mid of March and proved them to believe that their positions are canceled. It is to be noted that the Department didn’t inform selected candidate either written or nor published communique in local newspapers, Beyond this Department has also advertised tender notice PRQ No 1853/18-3-19 for thermal mini fog Generators and Dengue by the Department of VBD, which are going to be used in District level.
Therefore, it is requested that appointment letters may kindly be issued to the candidates so that they may join the department positively and serve as per their contract.
