Loralai: Inauguration ceremony of enrollment campaign was held in Loralai, on Saturday.
Enrollment Ceremony was jointly organized by Government of Balochistan and Alif Ailan. For a bright future of Pakistan and Balochistan, every citizen of Balochistan has to take part in enrollment campaign-2016. Almost, 160,000 additional children will be enrolled in schools this year. 1,200 new SST Teachers are being recruited through Balochistan Public Service Commission. Hundreds of teachers will be posted in colleges very soon. These views were expressed by Provincial Secretary Education Abdul Saboor Kakar.

Speaking to audience, Provincial Secretary Education said that many practical arrangements are being made to enroll maximum number of out of school children. He further said that every segment of society has to play its due roll for betterment of education. He informed the audience that last year 110,000 children were enrolled in schools and 160,000 children will be enrolled in schools this year with the help of teachers, parents, civil society and every segment of society.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Loralai Shahzaib Kakar said that getting education is the only way to fight challenges of 21st century. He stressed upon the teachers to make sure their presence in schools otherwise, departmental action would be initiated against the absentees.
Additional Secretary and Project Director Global Partnership for Education (GPE) Asfand Yar Khan said that a formal strategy is being followed to achieve our educational goals. Inshallah, all goals set for future will be achieved in course of time. Without getting education, we cannot stand go forward. A systematic mechanism is being followed to monitor progress and presence of teachers and students. This will almost end ghost schools and teachers. Currently, this system is functional in 11 districts of Balochistan and will cover rest of districts very soon.
Controller Examination of Balochistan Board Mr. Ibadullah Shah Gharsheen also said that no stone will be left unturned to make Secondary School Examinations cheating free. First time, thump impression will be taken before and during the examinations and the same will be printed on Detail Marks Certificate of candidates.
Education Activist of Alif Aillan, Mr. Saboor Ahmed said that almost 67, 000 children of Loralai are out of school. In ceremony, DEO Loralai Syed Amir Shah, Chairman District Council Shams Hamzazai, Additional Director and focal person Anti-Cheating Campaign Mr. Muneer Ahmed Nodezai, Divisional Director Education Haji Abdul Rasheed Kakar and other representative of education department also spoke during the occasion.
Teachers and parents, journalist, representatives of civil society and others participated also participated in the inauguration ceremony.
