Loralai: A seminar was held in Municipal Committee Hall Loralai to celebrate International Mother Languages Day, on Sunday.
Seminar was organized by Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) and Ubaidullah Jan Babat, adviser to Chief Minster on Forest, Livestock and Environment was chief guest.
Chairman Municipal Committee Niamt Jalalzai and Vice Chairman District Council Advocate Ahmed Jan Nasar, teachers, writers and party workers were also present on the occasion.
Speakers demanded that Mother Languages must be used for official purposes and education should be imparted through mother languages.
Speakers said that International Mother Languages Day is being celebrated all over the world since 2000. They further said that in 21st century, modern world has recognized that mother language can be very useful for students in their early age.
At the end, book “Afghan & Afghanistan” written by Member of National Assembly Abdul Rahim Mandokhail was distributed amongst the participants.
