Chagai: Chairman of District Council Chagai, Dawood Notezai, is taking action against issuance of fake local certificates in district Chagai, learnt Balochistan Voices.
District Chairman has ordered cancellation of several suspicious local certificates which were issued lately. He has also ordered an investigation in the matter.
According to sources more than 100,000 local certificates have been issued form District Chagai which is much greater, given the population of Chagai.
According to estimates, more than 50,000 Afghan Refugees are living in District Chagai and most of them arrived after the soviet invasion of Afghanistan in 1979.
Mr. Notezai has also reconstituted the local certificate verification committee in a bid to make the process more transparent.
Reportedly, Mr. Notezai has vowed that he will defend rights of local people at all costs and would not allow outsiders to deprive them of their rights.
