Gwadar: Due to a supply breakdown there is no electricity in Gwadar city for last 22 hours.
Electricity supply to Gwadar city was suspended at 3 AM last night and there is no electricity in Gwadar at the time of filing of this report.
Residents of Gwadar have condemned the 22 hour long electricity breakdown.
“We pay our bills on time and still we don’t get proper electricity supply,” lamented a resident of Gwadar.
Local officer of Quetta Electricity Supply Company (QESCO) expressed ignorance when asked about the cause of the electricity breakdown.
“We ourselves don’t know what happened with electricity, it may take 2 or 3 days to restore supply to Gwadar city,” said local QESCO officials.
It took 3 to 4 days to restore electricity supply when there was a supply breakdown in Gwadar last time.
People of Gwadar are hoping that the problem is fixed soon this time around.
