Quetta: There has been over a year delay in appointment of 230 lecturers for collegiate branch of education department of Balochistan.
Vacancies of 230 college lecturers (BPS-17) were advertised in different disciplines in beginning of 2015 by education department.
Recruitment tests and interviews were conducted for the vacancies of lecturers by Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) and the names of successful candidates were forwarded to education department.
Successful 230 Lecturers would fill the vacancies of lecturers in different colleges of Balochistan.

Education department has delayed the appointment of those 230 lecturers by over a year owning to bureaucratic problems in the department.
Initially education department informed the successful candidates that appointment of all 230 lecturers would be made in January but this was not the case.
Abdul Saboor Kakar, Secretary Education of Balochistan, took notice of the issue after it was bright to his notice from the platform of Balochistan Voices.
Mr. Kakar promised to take notice of this delay and make the appointments within next few days.
