Gwadar: USAID funded projects started by Rural Community Development Council (RCDC) were inaugurated in a ceremony held in Syed Zahoor Shah Hashmi Auditorium, on Tuesday.
Chairman District Council Gwadar, Babu Gulab, was the chief guest of the ceremony.
Ceremony was jointly presided by President of RCDC Khuda Baksh Hashim and District Education Officer Muhammad Jan Raza.
Apart from Chief Guest and Presidents of the ceremony others who addressed the program include Abid Sohrabi Chariman Municipal Committee Gwadar and Dr. Mir Yousaf Khan, Provincial Chief of NRSP amongst others.
RCDC would establish reading clubs in 15 schools and reading sections in 3 public libraries to promote habit of reading among students of Gwadar.
The reading clubs and sections would be established in Gwadar City and Union council Pishkan.
This program would be sponsored under the USAID Small grant ambassador fund program. 16 million rupees would be spent for books, furniture and other necessary equipment.
Representatives of areas, members of civil society and officers of education department also attended the meeting.
