Chagai: Levies force has arrested 4 dacoits from Pak-Iran border near Yakmach in Dalbandin.
This was claimed by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Chagai Qadir Bakhsh Pirkani while addressing a press conference at Assistant Commissioner (AC) Dalbandin office along with AC Dalbandin Razzaq Sasoli and levies officials, on Wednesday.
He said that the successful operation, which was commanded by assistant commissioner Dalbandin, was concluded after heavy exchange of firing between levies force and dacoits. Resultantly Abdul Kareem, Shahbaz Khan, Doda khan and Ali Ahmed were arrested and one SMG, 3 magazines, several rounds, 9 mobile phones and one satellite phone were recovered from their possession.
Deputy Commissioner Chagai Qadir Bakhsh Pirkani said the dacoits were involved in robbery, kidnapping for ransom and other related crimes and were shifted to Dalbandin Levies station and a case was registered against them. He said local people and transporters cooperated with levies force which contributed in success of operation.
He vowed to never let the criminals to operate anywhere in Chagai and expressed commitment to save the life and property of people. He praised Chagai levies performance and said Chief Secretary Balochistan Saifullah Chatta has announced one Lac rupees for levies team as reward for conducting successful operation.
