Gwadar: Twelve Police Officers were promoted in Gwadar district, on Friday.
A ceremony was held to pin promotion badges to the promoted officers in Gwadar.
DIG Markan region, Jaffar Khan, was the chief guest of the ceremony.
DIG along with other officers pinned badges of promotions on the shoulders of newly promoted officers.
DIG Police congratulated the promoted Policemen and called them essential part of the society. He said that there can’t be peace and stability in any society without an effective police force.
DIG hoped that the promoted Policemen will keep on playing their positive role to ensure peace and stability in the port city of Gwadar.
The promoted officers include SHOs, Traffic Sergeants and Sub-Inspectors.
Others who spoke at the ceremony included Chairman Municipal Committee Abid Sohrabi, DPO Barket Hussain Khosa amongst others.
