Gwadar: Importance of Boys scout was stressed upon by the speakers in a program held in Gwadar, on Monday.
Program was held in government model high school Gwadar to appreciate and discuss the role of scouts in society.
Khan Muhammad, District Education Officer (DEO) Gwadar was chief guest of the program.
Addressing the program, Khan Muhammad appreciated the role of scouts and termed it extremely important for any civilized society.
He further said “Scouts provide backup in conditions of emergency to the government and other supporting institutions.”
Hazoor Baksh Sajidi, scout incharge of government model high school said that scouts of Gwadar achieved third position in the scout’s competition held in Balochistan.
He urged that trend of scouts needs to be promoted in other schools of Gwadar as well.
In the end appreciation certificates and shields were distributed among the scouts.
