Quetta: Haal Hawal, Balochistan’s first Urdu language online newspaper was launched, on Tuesday.
Online newspaper was launched by the team of Haal Hawal during its launching ceremony, in Quetta Press Club.
Abid Mir, Editor of Haal Hawal announced that this online newspaper is dedicated to memory of slain journalist Irshad Mastoi
Irfan Saeed, Bureau Chief of Dunya News, was the Chief Guest of the ceremony. He wished best of luck to the team of the online newspaper. “It’s good to see that journalism has transformed from paper to computer in Balochistan,” added Mr. Saeed.
Shahzada Zulfiqar, president of Quetta Press Club, said that it’s good to know that youth have joined together for such a nice initiative. He further added, “Brining truth to the fore is main duty of journalists in Balochistan.”
Saleem Shahid, senior journalist, said that Haal Hawal has to include the point of view of every stakeholder and create tolerance among people through its reporting.
“Most of the journalists killed in Balochistan due to their own faults caused by lack of capacity,” added the senior journalist Ayub Tareen.
Ejaz Baloch, director of Public Relations University of Turbat, said that it’s good to see that journalism is taking new shape in the province.
Shabbir Rakhshani, the lead reporter of Haal Hawal explained the editorial policy of Haal Hawal to the participants of the launching ceremony.
