Mastung: Sardar Akhtar Mengal, President of Balochistan National Party (BNP) and former Chief Minister (CM) of Balochistan, severely criticized the corruption of incumbent government during a political gathering held in Mastung, on Sunday.
Mr. Mengal said that current government of Balochistan is totally corrupt and dishonest and they have forgotten the people of Balochistan.
“Unemployment is touching sky levels in Balochistan but government is only concerned about their kickbacks and commissions,” lamented Sardar Mengal.
Referring to the ongoing anti-corruption drive in Balochistan, Mr. Mengal said that presently the situation is very hot in Balochistan and corrupt elements are fearful of the consequences.
“People of Gwadar do not have clean drinking water and the government is building an international airport,” lamented former CM.
Mr. Mengal alleged that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is only meant to develop Punjab at the expense of other smaller provinces.
Mr. Mengal appreciated all the local leaders of BNP for staying with the party in hard times. He appreciated Manzoor Baloch, Noorullah Shahwani and other members of the party in BNP who stood with the party during bad times.
