PM Arrival Paralyzed Traffic in Quetta for Hours

Quetta: Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s arrival here in Quetta brought worries for the citizens as they stuck in worst traffic jam for hours, on Monday.
Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif came to the provincial capital Quetta for one day visit.
Following security threats several roads leading to the Governor House were completely blocked for traffic that made people stuck in worse traffic jam for hours.
Muhammad Irfan a Government employee who had to picked-up his children from Islamia School said, My children are waiting for me at the school gate but I am stuck in traffic jam, “I took shot leave from my office to pick my children but PM’s arrival ruin my whole day,” Irfan said and added my children would be standing there in misery.
PM Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif visited Quetta to place foundation stone of various development projects including electricity transmission lines, gas pipelines and underpasses.
Many schools including Saint Franics Grammar School located on Prime Minister’s VIP protocol route remain closed due to VIP movement and Security concerns.
“The provincial Government should think about the school closure while any VIP movement, they are destroying our children’s future,” Muhammad Junaid Akbar another student said.
Citizens of Quetta have demanded an alternative route during any VIP movement that could reprieve them from getting stuck in traffic jam.
