Dalbandin: Shortage of Medicines for TB Patients

Dalbandin: Patients of Tuberculosis (TB) belonging from Dalbandin city and nearby areas are facing problems due to shortage of medicines, learnt Balochistan Voices.
TB is a bacterial infection that can spread through the lymph and bloodstream to any organ in the body. Without proper treatment up to two thirds of people with TB, die.
TB patients need medicines on regular basis for the cure of their disease. Shortage of the medicines jeopardize their treatment and well being of patients.
Health Department and Drug regulatory authority is unaware about such a critical situation for TB patients in Dalbandin.
Government of Pakistan has chanted a slogan to provide free treatment and all medicines of TB patients; however this claim is not being materialized in the case of Dalbandin.
TB patients told Balochistan Voices that they are facing great deal of trouble and mental stress due to lack of medicines.
TB Patients in Dalbandin have requested from Chief Minister (CM) Balochistan Nawab Sana Ullah Khan Zehri, Minister and Secretary Health Balochistan to take serious against shortage of medicines in Government hospitals and private clinics.
