Surab: The Kids Middle Public School Giddar is situated in Surab Tehseel of district Kalat.
Balochistan Voices talked to Mr. Niaz Ahmed Reki, Principal of Kids Middle Public School Giddar who discussed vision of his school, including its administrators, teachers and students.
This school consists of middle section and the majority of students belongs to poor families with lower socioeconomic backgrounds.
Principal said that the school conditions contribute more to socioeconomic status differences in learning rates than family characteristics.
School in low socioeconomic communities suffer from high levels of unemployment, migration of the best qualified teachers and low educational achievement, he said
A teacher’s years of experience and quality of training is correlated with children academic achievement. Yet, children in low income schools are less likely to have well-qualified teachers.
“We are facing all challenges and keep hard working with our students without any greed. Our students are active as compared to other nearest schools,” said Mr. Reki
The focus of the school is on improving teaching and learning, creation of an information rich environment, building of a learning community, continuous professional development and involvement of parents and increased funding and resources.
The Principal and staff of Kids Middle Public School Giddar have appealed to JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) and other similar organizations that are funding private Academic Institutes in Pakistan, to issue funds for kids middle public school Giddar so it can impart education in a better way.
