Surab: Staff and students of Government Boys High School Hajika are still waiting for the tender of construction of new classrooms in the school, as promised by Education department.
Mr. Lal Muhammad Nichari, Councilor of UC Hajika told Balochistan Voices that approximately 2 months ago Balochistan Voices published a report “Government Boys High School Hajika, Surab deprived of basic facilities.”
After this report Mr. Aziz Ahmed Jamali, Additional Secretary Education took notice of the matter that in Government Boys High School Hajika, having EMIS code 03105, there is a shortage of classrooms.
Education Department of Balochistan announced to build 4 additional classrooms and one toilet with a total value of 4.7 million rupees for Government Boys High School Hajika. Additional Secretary Education also clarified that the construction will be part of ongoing budget.
Unfortunately, tender has not been floated till to-date, whereas the current fiscal year is coming to an end on 30th June.
Mr. Nichari, councilor of Hajika and staff of Government boy’s high school Hajika, Surab have requested to Mr. Aziz Ahmed Jamali, Additional Secretary Education of Balochistan to take notice of the matter and make good his commitment.
