Street doctors are those doctors who are not properly qualified but still treat the people and charge high fees. They not only rob the poor patients in form of heavy fees but also exacerbate their illness due to their lack of possession of skills and qualification to treat the patients.
Street doctors seem to hover in sky like a crowd of hawks, waiting to get a chance and swoop down on their prey. There is abundance of such doctors in our society and they are playing a negative role. They are putting the lives of poor patients at severe risk.
Main reason that the street doctors continue to earn money is due to the illiteracy and lack of awareness of the patients. Due to lack of awareness under-privileged people do not realize that going to such doctors for treatment tantamount to suicide.
Recently, in Hub city clinics of all street doctors were sealed, but afterwards got reopened. Why they were reopened? It’s not yet known.
Therefore, I request the concerned authorities to look into this issue and protect the common people from the growing menace of street doctors.
At the same time, all the educated and civilized people of the society need to raise awareness against the street doctors so that they no longer exploit the under-privileged people.
