Quetta: Roads Lights Problems

Quetta: Road lights can be seen on during daylight hours at several places while these are not found on during night times at other places of Quetta city, learnt Balochistan Voices.
Road lights are not switched on even during night times in different areas of Quetta such as Sariab road.
People feel unsafe while traveling at night times during the areas where road lights are not switched on.
Mr. Javed Ahmed local resident of Quetta told Balochistan Voices “Looting people, theft and snatching has become daily routine and People are being bereft from their valuables due to darkness in streets.”
Mr. Jameel Ahmed Sarparrah a Local resident of Arbab Karam Khan road Quetta said that People often observe street lights on day times but unfortunately it remain dark at night times which cause robbery and snatching problems.
Mr. Faisal Reki resident of Sariab Road Quetta told Balochistan Voices “Due to no attention of government Street lights in Sariab road have turned into nest for birds, which is a question mark on slogans of development by government.
Social and Political Activists told the Balochistan Voices that at night times often traffic incidents took place due to darkness in streets. People face a lot of problems due to darkness on night times.
People demand from DC Quetta and other officials to take action and tackle the problem on early bases and ensure safety of people’s life and assets.
