Quetta: Local Bus Transporters staged a protest demonstration against bad behavior of Regional Transport Authority (RTA), on Friday.
Local bus owners parked local buses on different areas of Quetta city which disturbed the traffic system.
Students and other people faced a lot of problems to reach schools and offices on time.
“We have improved the condition of the buses but still RTA has closed more than 20 local buses during two weeks and canceled route permits of more than 120 local buses which is economic murder of local bus owners and not acceptable,” a local bus owner told Balochistan Voices.
RTA officials said that to provide people clean and comfortable journey we have taken action against old and obsolete buses to provide good travelling facilities to the people.
Transporters ended protest demonstration after successful dialogue with local administration who assured Transporters that their demands would be considered.
