Quetta: Ziarat Development Package was reviewed a meeting chaired by Chief Minister (CM) of Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, on Wednesday.
Meeting was attended by Provincial Minister Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, Provincial Advisor Mir Muhammad Khan Lehri, MPA Tahir Mehmood Khan, Deputy Mayor Quetta Younus Baloch and Additional Chief Secretary (Development) Dawood Barech.
Chief Minister Balochistan regretted that the recreational sights of the province were not given due focus and development due to which they could not attract the tourists.

“We have world’s second largest Juniper forests in Ziarat and Harboi, besides having a long coastal belt, Hanna Lake, Hazarganji National Park and many other beautiful places which are assets of Balochistan, and need prompt development to attract the tourists,” he maintained.
Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri on occasion, directed for preparing a master development plan for Ziarat similar to Murree, and early implementation of development package in Ziarat that was announced by federal government.
“A large number of people across the country visit Ziarat on the eve of Eid and other festivals, thus all facilities should be ensured in Ziarat to attract more and more tourists,” he directed.
Nawab Zehri directed for reviewing the project of installation of chairlift in Ziarat with collaboration of private sector, reconstruction of roads and footpaths in the city and timely implementation of water and other development projects.
CM also directed for devising a comprehensive planning for provision of facilities at recreational sights of the province.
“Through provision of required facilities to the recreational areas the tourists could be attracted towards Balochistan,” he said.
