On 22 July 2016 Water and Sanitation Authority (WASA) announced posts For Sub-engineer, Supervisor, electrician and Postman.
The mentioned posts were for all Balochistan and majority of people who fall on eligibility criteria applied for these posts.
On 17 August WASA department revealed the list of selected candidates for written test and according to consolidated advertisement in local Newspapers by WASA department it was announced that written tests for the mentioned post will commence on 28 August 2016.
Soon after the announcement of test date Majority of candidates arrived in Provincial Capital Quetta for written tests on 28th August. However, WASA administration said that the test has been cancelled a day before and a new date will be announced and all candidates will be informed via newspaper.

It seems that written tests and Interviews are only formality and posts were given to people with references

It seems that Minister and Secretary were not agreeing on bargaining for allocation of posts. Majority of candidates who belonged to rural areas came 2-3 days before and were staying in local hotels but unfortunately tests were cancelled.
It seems that written tests and Interviews are only formality and posts were given to people with references. It’s the failure of this concerned department that after announcing test date the tests were cancelled at eleventh hour.

Indeed, Balochistan is still in Stone-age because the cancellation of tests is communicated orally to a candidate when he visits WASA for His written test

Indeed, Balochistan is still in Stone-age because the cancellation of tests is communicated orally to a candidate when he visits WASA for His written test.
The candidates demand from Chief Minister Nawab Sana Ullah Zehri to take action against WASA for not officially announcing cancellation of posts in electronic and print media.
