Lasbela district is a neglected area of Balochistan which is deprived of hospitals with properly functioning facilities.
People of the region need to cover distance of several hours for their treatment in Karachi.
Similarly, the patients, especially pregnant, women meet their makers before they reach the hospitals in Karachi. But authorities have turned blind eyes towards the insufficient facilities for health.
I urge the government of Balochistan to look into the matter in no time and provide healthcare facilities in Lasbela.
