Quetta: Government has spent a lot of funds to improve cleanliness in Quetta and make it a Little Paris again, but unluckily Metropolitan Corporation has failed to do the Job, claim citizens.
Mr. Faisal Reki, a resident of Quetta laments that people are facing a lot of problems due to dumpsters and other useless contents, an unpleasant and disgusting smell which mixes with air from the dust laying across roadsides and people infected by different throat and respiratory diseases.
Mr. Saqib Hassani, another citizen added that every where the pouring dirty water is proof of Bad Sewerage system. The dustbins which have were bought to improve cleanliness in Quetta City can’t not be seen on roadsides, people are compelled to throw the dust and useless things on road and streets.
Citizens alleged that the funds allocated for cleanliness of Quetta city have been embezzled by the officials of the Metropolitan Corporation.
Citizens have urged Provincial Government and Honorable Court to take action against the concerns of citizens and investigate about corruption.
