Quetta: Quetta Online Volunteers group has started a campaign for establishment of a cancer hospital in Quetta, on Thursday.
This announcement was made by the founder of Quetta Online, Zia Khan, in a post shared on the official page of the group.
The campaign will be carried out on social media using the hashtag #CancerHospitalQuetta.
This campaign is started in the backdrop of rising number of cancer cases appearing from Balochistan for which different civil society groups including Quetta Online carried out donation collection campaigns.
Rehan Rind, 21 year old student from Khuzdar, was the latest case for which different groups including Quetta Online carried out campaign. However he could not survive and passed away on 6th September.
Quetta Online in their post have stated that it’s not possible to collect donations for each and every case of cancer and therefore a proper cancer hospital needs to be established in Balochistan to solve the problem on permanent basis.
Volunteers of Quetta online have started sharing posts with their pictures on them and announcing their support for cancer hospital in Quetta.
