Quetta: As Eid Ul Azha is approaching, the owners of passenger buses have increased the fare which is creating a lot of problems for the passengers, learnt Balochistan Voices.
Common people have to spend a lot of money to fulfill their daily life needs and the increase in bus fares has worsened their economic woes.
Mr. Waheed Baloch, a student, told Balochistan Voices that fares of buses are touching the sky, people are compelled to pay high fares in absence of government controls.
Mr. Khalil Baloch, a local resident of Dalbandin, told Balochistan Voices that it is very hard to fulfill the basic needs of family on Eid season but Eid Ul Azha also has a message of sacrifice for us. “As the government is chanting slogans of relief and facilities for people it is their duty to ensure cheap rates of sacrificial animals and reduced bus fares,” he urged.
People demanded from Government of Balochistan to take action against the transporters who have increased bus fares.
