A library is collection of sources of information. Library plays an important role in the development of a country and produce great scholars and teachers. Moreover, it reduces the crime rate in the country, for instance if the public are busy in their studies then they will be far away from the bad practices.
Unfortunately, there are many flaws in our education. Balochistan is facing a lot of problems in education sector. There is dearth of libraries in Balochistan. In hub – Lasbela, there is only one public library and it is also not functioning.
May be that’s the reasons of increase in the crime rate in hub. There is a dire need to make new education policy responsive to the current needs of our society.
We don’t have to rely on Government for everything. We the citizens can take an initiative. We start a small library with few books.
